WHAT EVENTS ARE IN VEGAS AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
These are the two biggest questions we are getting and it’s time to start planning for our first year in the NDA’s Team Dart event in Vegas.
To kick it off, here is a schedule of the events so you can easily see what’s on tap.
There’s a reason the event is called “NDA Team Dart”. The main events in the daytime are three days of 4-person Team 501, and then three days of 4-person Team Cricket.
The evenings are assorted singles, doubles, and triples events. Sign up for everything or sign up for some. It’s totally up to you.
Open Events are approximately $50 USD per event and that covers all coin drop, admin fees, etc
Masters Events are approximately $72 USD per event. The higher entry fees also mean higher payouts.
The 4-person Team Event is one entry fee and covers the full 3 days.
Mostly everyone will play in the “Open” events with up to 25 levels depending on how many players register.
Players with 3.5 MPR / 32 PPD are considered Masters and that has two levels, Masters A & Masters B.
Your team can have one Masters player on it and still play in the Open levels.
Everything is flighted so don’t get hung up on team averages. Just assemble a team that is going to have a good time playing together.
You’ll get slotted where you belong and you’ll have a great time!
What’s the next steps?
#1 – Determine if you are qualified to go. That’s easy. Just check the MAX Leaderboard. Basically everyone currently in a MAX league now will qualify as long as you keep playing your matches and don’t get too far behind.
#2 – Decide if you’re going to Vegas for an awesomely great time. Registration deadline is Feb. 8. Let us know asap so you don’t get left out.
#3 – Start organizing yourselves into 4 person teams. We can help with that as long as we know who’s going
#4 – Start looking for cheap flights. The event is at the Westgate and darter room rate is $84 USD. We have rooms reserved and feel free to stay elsewhere if you choose.
